All British citizens visiting the Cape Verde islands must have a passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 months upon their return to the UK and an entrance visa.
Thompson holidays offer a visa service for your entry into Cape Verde. You will need to contact Thompson to obtain information on this service. They state that their application forms for the visa must be completed a minimum 5 days before you fly to Cape Verde. Check the Thompson website for more details.
Alternatively you can pay for your visa at the international airports of Sal, Boa Vista, Santiago (and shortly Sao Vicente). It costs 25 euros for your visa entry to Cape Verde. All you need is to complete the white Visa form in the airport upon arrival and your passport. The visa forms are obtained before you go through passport control.
