Villa owners in Tenerife are bucking the downward trend of falling rentals, as occupancy levels reach as high as 70%. Companies specialising in renting villas in Tenerife say that demand is high for people wanting to stay in luxury villas for their holidays. Peter Pennington, MD of New Properties Tenerife, says that rentals on the villas he manages are increasing. Pennington began his rental division eighteen months ago and now has many luxury villas on his books. "We are seeing a strong demand for the luxury villas and the clients who have stayed in the villas are making repeat bookings for next year". Pennington says that the key to successful renting of properties in Tenerife is repeat bookings. Pennington says "You have to get the repeat bookings and the only way to do this is to provide a professional service. We take care of everything for the clients to have a hassle free holiday".
